Conditions for participation
PIANALE is aimed at piano students between 18 and 32 years from Germany and abroad with a repertoire rehearsed to concert standard. All participants should prepare a concert repertoire containing at least four important piano works which might be performed during the concerts of PIANALE. The programs of the concerts will be published one day before each concert. The Landesmusikakademie Hessen (Hesse State Music Academy) is based at Schloss Hallenburg and offers abundant practising facilities for all course participants.
In case of late arrival or early departure the participant looses the right to perform at the semi-final and final concert and has no right to win any scholarship or award.
For Radio and TV transmissions or recordings of the different stages, candidates have no right to claim fees and must consent to any broadcastings and recordings.

You will then be asked to complete a written test to assess your knowledge of the language you wish to study (students with previous knowledge only).
In case of cancellation, 80% refund of course and accommodation fees will be granted if written cancellation notice is received before 15 June 2012. After 15 June 2012, no fee can be refunded.
Should any dispute arise as to the interpretation of the regulations of the participance, the German text is to be considered legally binding.
